If you order a cloud hosting package from us and if you use our mail services, you will be able to set up spam filtering for any of the mailboxes that you create from the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel. With no more than a couple of mouse clicks, you can pick between 5 separate protection levels. If you start receiving spam, you can start with the lowest one and then gradually increase the level until you stop getting spam. We rely on one of the best and most famous spam filters available called SpamAssassin. It examines the header field and the body of each email that you get and calculates a spam score, based on which it either erases a given email message or permits it to reach your inbox. The Hepsia hosting Control Panel will also allow you to configure custom spam filters and either delete unwanted messages or re-send them to a third-party address such as email@example.com where you can check them again after that.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Servers
In case you take advantage of one of our semi-dedicated servers, you won’t need to worry about junk email messages filling up your mailboxes all the time, as you can resort to the popular SpamAssassin filter that we offer with each and every semi-dedicated server account. Our in-house developed Hepsia hosting Control Panel will permit you to activate the filter for any email account with a couple of clicks of the mouse and you can select any of the 5 safety levels – from very low to very high. The level can be altered at any time if, for example, legitimate messages get blocked, or if spam emails go through and appear in your Inbox folder. To take no chances, you can choose all filtered emails to be redirected to a special email account such as firstname.lastname@example.org and not to be deleted. In this way, you can examine them from time to time to make certain that you haven’t omitted a genuine email message.
