Multiple OS in VPS Servers
Our VPS server packages come with three Linux distributions which you could choose from for the Operating System of your new server - Debian, Ubuntu and CentOS. In addition to being free, the OSs are very stable and safe and the reason to offer you the three of them is to ensure that you can run every app that you would like, since different pieces of software could have different requirements about the environment they can be used on. Each one of the three OSs is supported by a vast community of web developers who have produced many hundreds of software packages which you can set up and use on your VPS. Based on the Operating System which you pick, you will also be able to select between three different Control Panels to take care of your web hosting content. Of course, if you decide that you need another OS, we could always reinstall the server with it. As an additional upgrade, we also offer you weekly updates of the Operating System for optimum stability and security.
Multiple OS in Dedicated Servers
We offer three Operating Systems with our dedicated server packages - CentOS, Ubuntu and Debian. They're all different Linux distributions and we offer them not only because they are free so they will not increase the low price of your new hosting server, but also because they are very secure and stable. Each of them is supported by a huge community of developers, so you'll be given the option to choose from countless software packages that you could install on your server if the application that you intend to use has certain requirements. The Operating System will also determine what web hosting Control Panel you can use because the Control Panels that we offer are compatible with particular OSs only and since we want to provide you with as much flexibility as possible, we offer multiple OSs and multiple Control Panels. If you get a server with a given Operating System, we will change it upon request in case it turns out that you will need a different one. We could also keep the OS updated weekly as part of our additional Managed Services upgrade.
